Homeland: The Phoenix rises

There have been shows and there have been 'shows'. But the one show that surprised everyone this year is Homeland (I can feel the Emmy nominations pouring in).

Last season was a disaster and I'm sure everyone agrees with me. The season focused solely on Brody which was sad but boring. Homeland writers shocked fans all over the world when they decided to kill off the major male character off the show. Honestly, at that moment I gave up on the show. You don't make that decision and not expect a negative impact. Apparently, I was wrong. Killing Brody is the best decision the writers ever made because Homeland is seriously kicking ass this year. Not only because of the surprising changes in the characters but also the new villains who are worse than the previous ones.

This season has been full of surprises;  Carrie's parenting experience, Saul's kidnapping,  Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) helping Haissam Haqqani a Taliban leader that is a threat to CIA, Haqqani killing his nephew, Attack on the CIA embassy, and the most shocking reveal of all- Dar Adal working with Haqqani.

I would advise those who aren't watching or stopped watching to do so now! watch or regret!
