Scandal Season 4 Episode 12 "Gladiators Don't Run"

A chance for one to control the president of the United States and everyone wants a piece. This episode changes everything for Olivia and Fitz. Who will buy Olivia is the question I keep asking. Part of me is still hoping it's Rowan.

The episode has everyone running around to save Olivia, but first, Fitz had to get his security team and anyone controlled by the vice-president out of the way so currently he's protected by the NAVY SEALS. For Olivia, he will have to work with some of the biggest terrorists just to get into the auction site because apparently, only the ones with that kind of reputation can do that. While Fitz and the White House are busy with the bidding, Jake, Huck and Quinn decides to carry out their own bidding to save their Olivia. With the money Huck took from B613, they needed to get into the auction site first, so they seek the help of the only person that can get them there, Maya Lewis aka Mama Pope with the help of David Rosen.

However, Maya isn't ready to help unless they give her something in return, a Flat TV screen is a start- for now because I foresee more favours in the future. The contact they're suppose to meet in other to gain access to the site wants something done- well if it has to do with killing then Huck is up for it, only that he was a little over his head by leaving a mess out of the whole situation much to Jake's surprise. Huck is truly a sick bastard, if you want to kill someone at least make it clean, not leave body parts everywhere

Back to Olivia, just when she thinks she's in control of the situation, one of Ian's Henchmen, Gus, lost it and puts a bullet in his head, leaving a game changing situation for Olivia who is in shock. Now Gus is in charge, bad news for Olivia since there's bad history between these two- Olivia knocking him out and killing his best friend Otto.

Abby on other hand, who was unable to contact Olivia went to her apartment and sees it in a mess. She goes to meet Huck and Quinn who decides to keep her in the loop because they can't trust the White House, even if it's an ex-gladiator. Distracted at the meeting with Fitz, he tells her what's going on and goes to confront David for not telling her that her best friend is missing. Sorry Abby but those days of pillow talk are long over so he doesn't owe you anything.

Andrew who realizes he doesn't hold the cards anymore decides to blackmail the president when Cyrus hands him his resignation letter. He threatens to tell the people of America that their president went to war because of Olivia Pope. Fitz who is anxious to get Andrew out of the White House strikes a deal with Liz, his accomplice to testify against him in return she walks free. Andrew realizes this and plays his last card, threatens to tell everyone about his affair with the first lady, forcing Fitz to succumb.

Things doesn't turn out well for Olivia when all of a sudden the auction was suspended. Apparently Gus made a deal with another bidder outside the auction, he sold her to Iran, he says. Now what fate holds for Olivia in the hand of her new captor, only time will tell.

I will continue to ask this question till I get an answer, where is Papa Pope?
