It’s Valentine’s Day in Lactitified. Daya and Bennett engage in role playing, imagining their life outside Litchfield. Aleida blackmails Bennett into smuggling contraband.
Vee convinces Tasytee to leave her library duty for custodian, she tells her she’s planning something and needs her help.
Flashback focuses on Poussey’s romantic history. Due to the nature of her father’s job (military) they’re always on the move. While in Germany, she meets and falls for a girl.
The love story is cut short when girl’s father catches them having sex. He uses his influence to transfer her father back to the States making them move again. Poussey confronts the girl’s father, she’s about to point a gun at him when her dad stops her.
Larry visits Piper, he tries to convince her to be his Prison mole so that he can write articles to expose the corruption in prison.
After arguing with Piper, Larry takes all of Piper things to Polly’s and in the heat of moment kisses her (icky much?). Red starts her contraband business and Piper starts investigating the prison.
Poussey confronts Vee, she warns her not to get Tastyee in trouble. Vee rubs it in her face and tells her feelings for Tastyee will always be one-sided.
Healy catches Piper snooping around, she tells him that she wants to start a newsletter for the prison. Suzanne sees the wedding invitation Morello dumped in the trash.
The inmates organize a valentine party and everyone gets emotional; Pennsatucky is outlawed by her friends. Bennett and Daya hook up in Caputo’s office.
Poussey and Tastyee argue (thanks to Vee). Flaca and Maritza share an intimate moment. Suzanne comforts Morello.
Luscheck, Fischer, Wanda and other COs go to the bar to watch Caputo and his band. While on stage, Capouto sees Jimmy, an elderly inmate sitting in the bar listening to the music.
