Orange Is The New Black Season 2 Episode 3 “Hugs Can Be Deceiving”

Piper returns to Litchfield with new inmates and is still pissed about Chicago. Big boo flirts with one of the new inmates, Brook Soso (who apparently runs without batteries) with the aim of scoring some points in the sex contest she has with Nicky.

Vee asks Cindy for a favour who refuses. Daya gets frustrated with Bennett that he doesn’t know how to smuggle prenatal drug, later in the episode comes up with a solution of using his prosthetic leg to smuggle it. Red and Vee meet and is discovered they’re old friends from Vee’s previous incarceration.

Flashback of this episode focuses on the background story of Suzanne who we see is clearly unstable and is always pushed by her mother to show that she is just as worthy and talented as others. Like high school graduation for instance, her mom pushed her to sing during the ceremony, her stage fright leads to an embarrassing outburst just like the incident in the Christmas pageant episode.
Morello discovers her fiancée, Christopher is getting married and has a complete meltdown. Piper snaps at Soso when she gets all up in her business. Flashback to the Christmas Pageant reveals that Suzanne was present during the brawl between Piper and Pennsatucky. After been teased by Maritiza and Flaca she went outside and punched Piper twice making it look like both are equally responsible, her reason for avoiding her.

Vee probably has an effect on Suzanne, to risk getting electrocuted to help Vee get the Cigarettes she hid in an old electrical box, that's just fifty shades of crazy. When she gives them to Vee, she sees Piper (Dandelion), freaks out and leaves. Vee tells her she's important... like a "garden rose" and "she sees her" for who she is unlike others. She apologizes to Piper, Piper tells her she's actually glad about what she did that night. Thanks to her, Piper isn't going to be charged for assault.

My best Quote
Morello- “You don’t go Jessica Simpson when you got Rihanna”.
