Wentworth Season 3 Episode 2 "Failing Upwards"

If there's one thing you learn in Wentworth is to never trust anyone, even people close to you. There's tension among the inmates, the screws, screws and inmates.
This week's episode is full of surprises, most  especially from Ferguson and Bea. Ferguson's plan for Bea is still unclear and Bea appears to have switched off her humanity, not the immortal kind though.

Bea isn't Ferguson's only target and it's unfortunate that Will can't defend himself from Ferguson who has a vendetta against him, the only person who knows the truth is Fletcher who is trying to gain his sanity from the accident planned by Ferguson. Franky however, is running out of friends and is completely vulnerable to attacks from the inmates and time is running out.

Ferguson makes a deal with Bea since she realized that fighting with her will just make her look bad in front of the board. Bea agrees to stop if she restores the inmates privileges, supply them with new beds which they destroyed in the fire. Freguson agrees with hesitation and even throws in free pizzas for the inmates as a bonus. Everyone was excited except Franky who feels Bea shouldn't be rewarded for what she did.

Franky is been watched closely by Vera who almost caught her trying to smuggle out the drugs in the chicken. Liz is out of the clinic and she's met with hostility from her fellow inmates. Linda hands her an approval form to sign so that her daughter can visit her but she's hesitant about it, still blaming Bea for the beat down from Boomer.

Ferguson tries to get Bea to rat on the person responsible for drug smuggling in the prison. Maxine warns Bea not to trust Ferguson because getting rid of her and Franky is part of her plan. Vera tries to convince Will to see Fletcher but refuses.

Bea confronts Jodie, Franky's partner and forces her to spill on Franky's drug operation, she also threatens her not to tell Franky about their conversation.  Liz finally agrees to see her daughter only to tell her to stay away.

The delivery truck arrives and the screws are on standby waiting to catch Franky with the drugs. Maxine goes with Jodie to unload the truck. The boxes arrive in the Kitchen and the screws walks in on Franky who is trying to remove the drugs in the chicken.

To Ferguson's surprise, they didn't find anything but the screws finds the drugs in Jodie's cell making it look like she's ripping off Franky. Unknown to everyone, Bea planted the drugs but Ferguson isn't happy because it's Franky she wants.

Franky on the other hand, is making enemies with some of the inmates she's doing business with. As a result of the drug bust, Franky lost all the money and the inmates threatens Franky to either give them the drugs or money.

Meanwhile Bea gathers everyone, Franky and Boomer included, and tells them that the drug smuggling stops. she gives the signal and Maxine drags Boomer to the steam press. Bea instructs them to place her hands in the steam press and Bea reminds Boomer that she gave an instruction that no more should harm Liz which she did. Without think twice she pulls the steam press on Boomer's hands who starts screaming as everyone watches in horror.

Franky later tries to make amends but it's clear to Boomer that Franky doesn't care about her since she didn't lift a finger to stop Bea from burning her hands with the steam press. Ferguson summons Bea to her office and sees a policeman waiting. The man informs Bea that her husband, Harry, was murdered. The man asks that he questions Will about Harry since they've had a confrontation in the past.
