'The Things We Do For The Ones We Love?'
If there's one thing I've learnt from watching this episode, it's this; Fitz is just a puppet, waiting to pull his strings. So all along Fitz was never in charge even though he thought he was.
With Papa Pope gone, one would think the balance of power would shift back to the president but no, someone else is In the driver seat, for now it's the Vice President, Andrew.
It's been proven once again that love suppresses war... well for TV shows because why would one risk a thousand lives for one person- well if it's Olivia Pope maybe it's worth it.
This episode had everyone running around trying to save Olivia. Meanwhile Fitz realizes that he couldn't trust anyone in the White House because they're all under the orders of Andrew. So he goes to the one person he knows he can trust- Tom, the man that murdered his son, ironic is it?
Toms tells him there's only one place that is safe for him, away from Andrew- Olivia's apartment, which is where he meets Jake and briefs him on what he's going on- wage war on West Angola or Olivia dies. He gives him a copy of Olivia's ransom tape and our girl managed to leave a clue that Huck could work on to get her back; the reflection on the glass of water she asked for, clever girl indeed.
Huck has proved once again in this episode that he would do whatever it takes to get Olivia back, even if it's to threaten and torture Elizabeth North for information. Elizabeth tries to reason with Andrew but it seems he's willing to go through it.
Meanwhile Huck, Quinn and Jake discovers the ring Olivia left behind in her neighbour's apartment in the last episode, after a friend of hers came to look for Olivia to tell her she's missing.
Millie however, scored points with me tonight, helping Fitz by sleeping with Andrew only to steal his cell phones and gives it to Olivia's team to track her. Glad she's on team Olivia.
With David's help (who couldn't help to gush about wearing the white hat and saving Olivia pope), they infiltrated the warehouse where Olivia was been kept but unlucky for Jake she was gone.
Olivia managed to handle her captor Ian, convincing him to look at the bigger picture- sell the president most valuable asset in an open market which will indeed fetch a big chunk of money or sit there and be a babysitter for the next three years till they decide to finally kill her.
Ian chose the former. So now they're on a plane going to God knows where with Huck no too far behind trying to track her with the clue she left behind. Well, glad to say the war with West Angola is no longer important.
Now the question that has been troubling is that when will Rowan show up. he must at least have parental instinct that his daughter is missing or maybe he has decided to watch from the sideline and leave it up to Olivia to save herself?
