Wentworth Season 3 Episode 3 "Knives Out"

What an emotional episode in this week's episode of Wentworth. I never thought I would one day see Franky vulnerable and desperate. Since the steampress incident with Bea, Boomer who's trying to cope with the aftermath has left Franky to fend for herself.

The episode begins with Franky, who's trying to workout in the yard gets threatened by one of her customers, Cindy Lou. She gives her an ultimatum, 24hrs to get the drugs or face the consequences. Desperate to get out of the situation, she turns to one of the inmates who agrees to sell the drugs thrice the price.

Franky goes to Boomer and asks her for the cash she gave her to keep but tells her she spent the money to get her revenge for Franky not helping her. Bea offers Franky protection but rejects it.

Bea goes to see Will and asks about his connection with the police regarding Larry's murder but gets interrupted by Ferguson. She warns Will to keep his distance since he's been investigated. Lizzy gets a visit from her daughter and gets scolded for not reaching out to her family when she was out on parole. Liz tries to explain it's for the best but Sophie's behaviour hints to Liz that she's been drinking. She walks away before Liz could apologize.

In the Kitchen, Franky receives a visit from Cindy Lou but what Franky is giving isn't enough. As she faces been attacked, Vera walks in. As if the  problem from inmates isn't enough, Vera charges her for verbal abuse of an officer which means her application for parole will be rejected and will have to wait for another six months to apply, bad news for Franky since she has a target on her back.

Franky sees Bridget on her way to the unit who tries to convince her to join her counseling program, she sees Cindy Lou waiting at the door. Boomer shows up and refuses to walk with her. Franky goes into the library and starts throwing tantrums in hopes of been thrown into solitary which she succeeded. Later that night, she sees Ferguson, gloves on, taking Jodie out of her cell to God knows where and returns her back to the unit hours later. Franky who hears Jodie crying asks her what happened but she stays silence.

Meanwhile Boomer is having a hard time eating and taking a shower without her hands. Bea tells Liz to help Boomer with whatever she needs till her hands heal in exchange Boomer protects her. The next day, Bridget visits Franky and tells her she's leaving solitary but she's hell bent on staying before she's dragged by the Linda. Franky tells Bridget about what she saw last night.

Bea and Will are been interrogated by the police who are speculating that both are involved in the murder of Harry when they discovered that Harry filed a police report against Will. Bea confronts Will about the police report, he tells her that Harry assumed they were together.

Franky more desperate than ever seeks out the inmates who offers to sell her drugs and the next scene shows her in the bathroom washing off the stench of what we all know she did. Cindy Lou attacks Franky again but is saved by her new friend and her crew. Franky warns them to stay away from and gives her money for the drugs. Liz begs Jess to allow her use the phone, she agrees and tells her she owes her and Liz has a disturbing conversation with Sophie.

Bea meets Franky in the unit and tells her she has cleared her debt with Cindy Lou. Franky makes it clear that she never wanted her help saying that anyone that gets close to her dies, and that ends in a slap from Bea. Bridget tells Franky that Vera has agreed to drop the charges if she agrees to attend regular counselling and apologize to Vera which she did.

In the final scene, Bea sees the police collecting DNA samples from Will and confronts him. Will tells her he confronted him the day he died to stop him from testifying against her.
