Alex takes her period calendar under the table and sneaks into the bathroom. From her calculation she realizes that Brad isn’t the father but Randall. She isn’t too happy about this and put the diary back to its original place. Her phone rings, it’s Randall but she ignores the call. Brad on the other hand, is surfing the web about “Vasectomy failure”, trying to figure out how Alex manage to get pregnant.
Randall swings by, pretending to check up on Brad when actually is to see Alex since she’s been ignoring his call. Brad offers him coffee and Randall takes the “I love Alex” mug to serve himself. Randall still insists Brad tells Alex about the Vasectomy. Alex comes down and sees the mug, she takes it from him and offers him another to use. Alex tries to talk to Brad about the pregnancy but refuses, Alex tells Randall to leave and Brad tells Alex to apologize for been rude to Randall- Brad suspects Alex is cheating on him but doesn’t know who.
The couples meet for their children baseball game, the women put the men in charge of the children while they offered to help Kelly look for a house. Alex tells Marcie to take her car and meet them there since they can’t go together in Alex’s car leaving Marcie left out of the group. They’re about to leave when Edward drags Esperanza away and starts threatening her about her mysterious boyfriend, Lushion steps in to defend her and Brad drags Edward away. Natalie realizes that the situation has destroyed chances of Edward helping Lushion to get a job in the police force.
Alex, Natalie, Kelly asks Esperanza about Edward’s behaviour. She tells them she has a boyfriend and the women are surprised she doesn’t know a lot about the guy she’s been dating for three months. Kelly decides to buy the house next to Alex and Brad’s. She calls Travis to tell him the news and a girl picks up, she is surprised when Kelly introduces herself as Travis' girlfriend but tells her she will deliver the message. Natalie and Esperanza pressures Alex until she finally tells them she’s pregnant but Brad is upset about it.
Brad and Alex plan a get together with their friends. Kelly signs the deed to the house. Alex goes to the kitchen to get wine and Randall follows her. She tells him that Brad is upset about something, their conversation is cut short when Edward confronts Randall when he sees him standing close to Alex. He leaves and Edward tells Alex he doesn’t like him. Kelly receives a call from Travis who is angry for calling him. Natalie tells Alex to talk to Marcie who seems upset about something.
Marcie confides in Alex, she thinks her husband is cheating on her with someone that can give him children because she can't get pregnant. Alex assures her it won’t happen that Randall loves her. Guilt ridden, Alex locked herself in the room to cry. Alex tells Brad she understands that he needs time for the news to sink in but still has the same reaction as before.
Esperanza and her daughter arrive at the house. She sees Edward going through her things, she realizes that Edward knows Julius identity and threats to kill him. Esperanza calls Julius to warn him about Edward coming after him. She tells him he’s a cop. Unknown to Esperanza, Edward is tracking her phone, he stops Julius and shoots him in the leg staging it as self-defense.
